'Deadpool' Actor Ryan Reynolds Mild Reaction To Oscar Snub [VIDEO]

Oscar fever is pitching up with less than a month to go for the final showdown. The Oscar nominations have been released last week and Ryan Reynolds, The "Deadpool" lead actor, didn't make the cut in the final list of nominees.

Ryan Reynolds didn't express sadness over the snub. In a tweet after the official Oscar announcement, Ryan Reynolds tweeted "Regularly scheduled tickle-fight at Camp #Deadpool is still on. Congrats to all the nominees for these brilliant films".

According to Variety, the character creator, Rob Liefeld has expressed satisfaction over the film success and tweeted "Can I just go on the record and say I don't think Deadpool was snubbed? The film touched & thrilled so many worldwide. Mission Accomplished."

The Marvel movie "Deadpool" did make an impressive $760 million worldwide collection at the box offices. The movie is about a special armed force retired person, acted Ryan Reynolds, subjected to a rogue experiment which nearly killed his life. The experiment unknowingly gave accelerated healing powers and with a touch of humor the character enthralled the audience very well in the theaters.

As posted in Entertainment Weekly, Jake Gyllenhaal has expressed his disappointment over snubbing Ryan Reynolds for his exceptional performance in the movie "Deadpool". Jake said that every actor struggles and tear away himself to put his best performance ever on the celluloid. He further stated that no one other than Ryan could have done that role and his performance is put there on the screen.

In December 2016, Ryan Reynolds was awarded Hall Of Fame for his contribution to the movies. The 36-year old actor, Ryan Reynolds has acted in more than 50 movies to his credit in a career spanning more than 25 years. His several hit movies include "X-Men Wolverine (2009)", The Proposal (2009)", "Green Lantern (2011)" and "Deadpool (2016)", which received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor.
