WhatsApp Beta Update: Get iOS Gender Diverse Emojies In Android Devices

Emojies are the new words when it comes to texting. Interestingly, in order to enhance the shrug and facepalm moments, WhatsApp is all set to bring forth its latest set of emojies. As per reports, the popular messaging app would bring the set of emojies from Unicode 9.0 to Beta version. Now, the beta version of the app contain emojie such as nauseated face, bacon, butterfly and many more.

Interestingly, all the emojies that would be available at WhatsApp Beta are already available at Android Nougat 7.1 and iOS 10.2. However, it would now be available through the Beta version irrespective of the Android version the user uses. With the release of Android Nougat 7.0 and iOS 10.2, several new emojies have been available such as profession emojies and gender equality ones, Android Authority reported.

For the users who wish to get these emojies all they need to do is sign up for WhatsApp Beta through Play Store and update their app. After doing this, the users would have access to all these apps. However, users also need to note that since this is the WhatsApp Beta version, there might be some stability issues and so they need to test the beta version only if they have backup of the data.

As BGR reported, a total of 16 new profession emojies have been added to the keyboard in WhatsApp Beta version in both genders as well as in different skin tones. Now, this takes the job list to 192 different images. Apart from these, there are host of animal emojies too that are included in iOS 10.2 version. These include gorilla, fox, squid, duck and more.

Similarly, Google has also added several emojies to the Android Nougat. Taking que from Unicode 9, Google too has added profession emojies such as astronaut, artist, student, firefighter, scientist as well as technologist. All these profession emojies are based on gender equality. As per the recent update, WhatsApp has changed the layout of emojies making it bigger.
