The invention of the self-destructing phone creates a great breakthrough in the modern science. Now people don't have to only imagine such a device but can feel the existence of it.

Previously, people experienced the use of the self-destructing phone only on the silver screen or in the spy movies. Currently, it is no more a device of a dream world, but a piece of reality. A research team has invented this device that can be very helpful to provide security to the high profile individuals.

BGR reported that researchers have made a prototype of the self-destructing phones. The gadget has some unique features. It can destroy a device completely within ten seconds.

Even the self-destructing phone works automatically to prepare a program that can trigger itself under some specific conditions. The mechanism of this device is very unique. The gadget has a battery that stores power and can channel it rapidly into the electrodes.

Once the electrodes receive the power it gains temperature. This process ultimately triggers the release and expansion of a specific polymer and destroys the processor of the device. Muhammad Mustafa Hussain, a researcher with the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology or KASUT, reveals the basic fact of this self-destructing phone.

He says that a thin layer of silicon on the polymer crumples when the polymer receives heat. The result is the device loses all its activity and becomes useless forever. A unique self-destructing phone can be an inoperable device with an amazing mechanism.

IEEE SPECTRUM reported that the customers of this self-destructing phone will surely want data protection. A lot of organizations every day handle a huge volume of data, like the banks, intelligence corporations, and others. Safe data is necessary for an overall safety.

The self-destructing phone also has some more surprising features. The owners of this device don't have to worry even if it is lost. If the device crosses a certain distance from a specific anchor point, then it will destroy itself automatically.

The researchers have performed some tests with the self-destructing phone and achieved complete success. They also used the GPS sensor and got satisfactory results. The research team has built an app that creates communication with a specific device and triggers the burst with a specific password.

Currently, the self-destructing phone is under the development process. The research team wants an update in the mechanism of the device and wants to destroy not only the chip but also the storage drivers and other essential components. Truly, the modern science is now achieving the rare invention.
