Apollo 11 is the first space capsule that landed on the moon. This space capsule will travel museums in America to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.

USA Today reported that a two-year country tour will be conducted soon to celebrate the success of the Apollo 11. The name of this mission is "Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission". The key organizer of this tour is the Smithsonian Institution Travelling Exhibition Service.

Myriam Springuel, the director of the said organizer, has uttered that it is a great privilege to take this tour across the country. People of America now can cherish the iconic command module Columbia of the Apollo 11. The module is the actual living area of the three astronauts Buzz Aldrin, Neil Armstrong and Michael Collins.

These three astronauts completed the one million mile journey to the moon and came back. The module was the key part of Apollo 11 that returned to the Earth. The capsule left the Washington in the early 1970s for a national tour.

After completing the tour the capsule was kept at the National Air and Space Museum for the last 40 years. Gen. John Dailey, director of the said museum, has opined that it is the time to relight the amazing story of Apollo 11.

The tour "Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission", will start in October and cover four museums in Houston, Seattle, St. Louis and Pittsburgh. People can enjoy the exhibition at the Museum of Flight in Seattle on July 20, 2019. The key aim of this tour is to remember the historic moon landing of the space capsule.

The module of the Apollo 11 will be shifted through FedEx during the tour. NPR reported that the tour will carry other different objects apart from the capsule. The objects include gloves, a "rock box" that contains the sample of the moon's surface and others.

A 3D tour will help the visitors to enjoy the actual fact of the capsule. This is a great initiative to know the unknown facts of the Apollo 11. Hope it will help the next generation to achieve new knowledge and invention.
