Attention K-Pop fans, U-KISS' Kevin will officially leave the group and this has been confirmed by his agency. According to NH Media, the 25-year-old star has declined to renew his contract and his record label respected his decision.

Apparently, Kevin wants to pursue a new path -- a dream that unfortunately, will need him to be away from his boy band U-KISS. According to Inquisitr, once his contract ends sometime this March, he will leave and fulfill his dream. However, his agency failed to mention what exactly his dream was. "We apologize to fans who always cheer U-KISS on, for delivering such unfortunate news. Member Kevin has decided to walk a different path in order to fulfill his dreams, and the label and U-KISS have decided to respect his decision," NH EMG said in an official statement.

"He debuted as a member of U-KISS in 2008 and promoted as a trustworthy and reliable member of U-KISS from the beginning until now, for the last 9 years. We have come to the decision to announce his departure from the label and U-KISS after a long discussion and a long time thinking on the matter, respecting Kevin's wishes," as per All KPop.

Although the label has approved of Kevin's decision, they admit that it's not easy and even apologized for the delay of the announcement as they were also considering several options. With this, Kevin will still have his last performance in Japan and Korea with his group, U-KISS. After which, nobody knows whether he'll be joining a new band or will work on his acting career.

As for U-KISS, they will still continue as a five-member group and will release a new album this year. This is to show fans in Korea and overseas about their "unchanging, bright side."
