Lee Min Ho, Song Hye Kyo & Song Joong Ki Are The Big Winners For The 12th Soompi Annual Awards

Top Korean idols had the experience yet another success this 2017 for their amazing performance from last year. And, this has all become a possibility because of the 12th Soompi Awards that recognize the best musicians and artists. Some of the K-Pop idols who snatched the awards are Lee Min Ho, Song Joong Ki, and Song Hye Kyo.

Without a doubt, the "Boys Over Flower" lead star Lee Min Ho will be recognized for his amazing acting skill. This year, the Hallyu heartthrob has won the Best Actor Award for the Korean drama "Legend Of The Blue Sea." Aside from the Soompi Awards, the actor also received the 2017 National Brand Awards grand prize last week.

"I traveled around the globe so many times over the past few years. I was so touched to see people (overseas) trying to write or speak Korean to me. I will further try to contribute to Korea's brand image," Lee Min Ho said in his acceptance speech.

Meanwhile, the glamorous Song Hye Kyo also received the award that she deserves for her role in the "Descendants of the Sun" -- Soompi's Best Actress Award. The 35-year-old actress, as Inquisitr reported, also helps in enhancing South Korea's brand image by funding pamphlets that promote the importance of South Korea, which are also shared in Japan.

"I hope that even something this small will help Korean tourists in Tokyo has a little more interest in Korean history that's all over the world," she said. Aside from them, another big winner is Song Joong-ki, who, despite not taking home the best couple award with his partner, had brought a special honor.

Actor Song Joong-ki received the Best Bromance with DOTS co-star for their amazing friendship shown in the K-drama "Descendants of the Sun." Their act touched millions of viewers worldwide.
