Overweight and middle-age people always risk high of heart diseases. But a recent study suggests that a routine exercise can diminish the chances of heart risk for overweight and middle-aged people.

The people who exert themselves physically keep their body fit. The Fox News reported that European Journal of Preventive Cardiology in a published research article mentioned the benefits of exercise for overweight and aged people to protect themselves from heart diseases. The risk rate of heart diseases is visible to be declining with the people who do daily exercise.

The overweight and aged people who don't follow any exercise routine have an increased risk rate of 1.33 to 1.35. The observations in the research articles are done through analyzing among 5000 people of around 55 years old. A thorough analysis of the participant's body mass index (BMI), family history of heart diseases, physical activity, diet plan, education, alcohol and tobacco usage were made.

From the analysis, it was observed that the people who do any sort of exercise on a daily basis have a reduced risk rate of heart disease. Atherosclerosis gets generated by overweight, which ultimately leads to heart diseases. But with proper exercise, the heart gets sufficient oxygen and degrades the risk of heart diseases.

According to WebMD, doing regular exercise will strengthen the heart lowering blood pressure. It also helps to maintain a proper healthy body weight and sound sleep. It reduces the stress and boosts the self-esteem.

Any kind of exercise shouldn't be done vigorously. It should start gradually, without too much exertion. In today's busy world no one will bother to find time for exercise or to keep up a daily routine. But for a healthy heart, it's better to keep a consistency in following a proper healthy routine.

There are some body indications which signal the immediate need to stop the exercise right away. Whenever there is a pressure or pain in the areas of shoulder, chest, arms, neck or jaw immediately consult a doctor. Any sort of discomfort during the time of exercise should require a medical consultation.
