"Clash of Clans" is overdue for a major update. The studio, meanwhile, is taking its time to roll out a massive update, focusing instead on in-game tweaks like the one rumored to come with the Spring Update. Fans, however, are hoping that the "Shipwreck" feature would be introduced right after.

According to Touch Arcade, the upcoming Spring Update focuses on in-game tweaks. The Spring Update aims to lure "Clash of Clans" players to utilize troops that used to be relied on heavily.

This seems to be a recurring theme for "Clash of Clans." The feature Events, like the majority of in-game tweaks included in the Spring Update, seem to encourage its players to utilize seldom used troops or spells, hoping that fans would develop a new meta involving the featured troops or spells.

That said, the "Clash of Clans" Spring Update brings some goodies too good to ignore, such as the lowered upgrading costs for Air Defenses, the additional Air Defense level for TH 11, and the additional Wall level limit, also for TH 11. The Hog Riders, Witches, Dragons, and PEKKA will also have their stats tweaked for the better, thus making them a good option during Clan Wars again.

Latino's Health recently reported that Supercell has gathered prominent "Clash of Clans" YouTube personalities in their headquarters in Finland to, presumably, test out new concepts. The studio has had a history of doing this, and soon after this meeting, Sneak Peaks would begin popping up, followed by one massive update! However, "Clash of Clans" players would just have to settle for upcoming Events before the Spring Update takes effect.

Meanwhile, the introduction of the rumored feature called the "Shipwreck" is again gaining momentum. All Clash reported that the official "Clash of Clans" Japan Twitter account posted a photo regarding a recent balancing update.

It shouldn't really be out of the ordinary, but the photo contained a small image in the upper left portion that can be construed as a sail. And if it's a sail, it may mean that the "Shipwreck" feature would be introduced soon. "Clash of Clans" fans can only hope.

While the "Clash of Clans" Spring Update is still a few days ahead, fans of the game are expecting massive changes to be introduced right after. And for those who stuck with the game for so long, they are probably hoping that the balancing tweaks are just the tip of the iceberg.
