OnePlus 4 Vs. Samsung Galaxy S8: Killer Specs Of Both Smartphones Make iPhone 8 Run For Its Money [VIDEO]

All the big tech honchos like Samsung, Apple, LG, HTC, and OnePlus have lined up their best smartphone releases in 2017. While some products are showcased at MWC 2017, others have reserved their surprise appearances to their respective launches. Some of the most awaited launches of 2017 are Samsung Galaxy S8, Apple iPhone 8, OnePlus 4, LG G6, HTC 11, Google Pixel and etc.

After the successful launch OnePlus 3 & 3T in 2016, the Chinese Company is planning to launch its successor OnePlus  4 with killer specs. As per PC Advisor, OnePlus 4 is expected to be launched anytime after May 2017.

OnePlus 4 boasts with 5.5-Inch Quad HD AMOLED Display and purportedly embedded with the mighty Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, with 8GB RAM and 64GB storage. The chipset from Qualcomm is manufactured through a 10nm process to increase performance and efficiency. The device will be rolled out with Android Nougat 7.0, which is already released in Dec. 2016.

The closest competitor for Oneplus 4 is Samsung Galaxy S8, which is slated to be released in 2017. According to CNET, the South Korean giant to showcase the new model at an unboxing event in New York on Mar. 29. The phone possesses dual-edge OLED display, being offered in 5.8-Inch for Galaxy S8 and 6.2-inch for Galaxy S8 Plus.

Samsung Galaxy S8 may offer an Artificial Assistant called Bixby, a recent patent filed is fueling the rumors further. The phone is also embedded with Qualcomm SD 835 processor. Some of the other features include dual cameras, USB Type-C port, Facial recognition, fingerprint sensor and etc.

While OnePlus 4 is expected to be priced at around $500, Samsung Galaxy S8 could be offered just under $900. It is worth noting that all high-end smartphones due for release this year have similar specs and processor speeds. So, it all boils down to the looks and pricing and not on brand. Therefore, the one who offers best at the lowest price will take away all the goodies.
