The Cannes Film Festival is set to kick off this May, and the glamor world is getting ready to showcase its exquisite haute couture gowns and pricey accessories collection in the festival. The news of Chopard and Rihanna coming together to use the platform of Cannes Film Festival to debut their newest jewelry line has grabbed attention and is set to be the showstopper of the festival. The famous jewelry label and the singing sensation are collaborating on a fine jewelry line, the priciest of which is to be a 30-carat diamond watch.

According to Fashionista, the new jewelry line by Chopard, co-designed by Rihanna is going to be a super limited edition of only 2,000 pieces available for each design. The line comes in two different ranges, one focusing on minimalistic style with emphasis on geometric designs. This range will have daunty necklaces, intricate rings, earrings, and bangles all made from ethical 18-carat Fairmined-certified rose gold accentuated with ceramic blocks in forest green.

As per Elle, the other range will be a costlier high fashion collection focusing on chandelier earrings, a watch, and two ear clips. Precious diamonds and exclusive gemstones will be used for creating the niche line with the costliest piece being the watch which stands at 30.76 carats. The entire collection is being labeled as "Rihanna loves Chopard." The collection celebrates the nature and festivals of Barbados which happens to be the native island of the "Pour It Up" singer.

Collaborating with fashion labels is not a new thing for the "Diamonds" singer. Rihanna had previously collaborated in a ready-to-wear collection with Fenty x Puma and had shared a footwear line with Manolo Blahnik, a socks line with Stance and a sunglasses range with Dior. All the collaborations have been fruitful raking in a lot of moolah for the fashion houses and the singer. The Chopard line is also set to keep up the winning streak but the price range for "Rihanna loves Chopard" reveals that it is targeting the aristocrats!
