Samsung's Galaxy S8 has a quite powerful processor that can enable to run a virtualized Windows 10 desktop on the phone with the help of a DeX accessory. Moreover, the powerful processor which is none other than Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 that powers the Galaxy S8 from Samsung will also be powering the Windows 10 devices in the latter half of this year.

According to iTech Post, the manufacturer of the chip has confirmed that the Windows 10 devices which are based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 system on a chip (SoC) will be available in the last quarter of this year. He further added, that the Snapdragon 835 is on the verge of expansion into the designs of mobile PC running Windows 10 are scheduled to launch in the fourth calendar quarter of this year.

This is not a huge surprise for the gadget freaks. Microsoft and Qualcomm had previously announced the December last year that cellular PC's with Windows 10 will be based on ARM chips that are supposed to be launched this year. However, this is for the first time that either of the company has announced a particular time frame for the launch for these devices. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chips will run full on the desktop with Windows 10 that is compiled natively for the ARM SoC's. These devices will support both the universal applications of Windows as well as the applications of Win 32 with the help of an emulator, reported BGR.

Qualcomm has plans to bring some technologies for the smartphone that would be made possible with the aid of the new chip to PC's with Windows 10, including Gigabit LTE & various battery saving technologies to Windows 10 that will be extremely light weight and will always be remaining connected to a network.
