Black Friday 2014 - Start Time & Updates: Deals that Best Buy, Walmart & Target Offer for iPhone 6, Galaxy S5 & More

Best Buy, Walmart and Target are offering deals and discounted prices on tech and gadgets for Black Friday.

Best Buy and its retail stores are offering discounts for Apple, Samsung, LG and Microsoft products. It is also allowing consumers to make purchases using the smartphone gift cards, or through online shopping.

iPhone 6, iPad Mini 3 & Macbook

The 16GB Apple iPhone 6 can be purchased for $99.99, while the iPad Mini 3 is available at $324.99. The iPad Air 2 can be bought for $399.99 providing consumers with a $100 discount on its original price, while discounts are available for other models with different internal storage capacities.

The 13.3-inch MacBook will sell for $1,349.99, while the 11.6-inch MacBook Air model will retail for $779.99, cutting $150 and $120 off the original price of both laptops respectively. Reduced prices are also available for the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models.

Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 4

The Samsung Galaxy S5 can be bought for just $1 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 can be availed for free for qualified customers under a contract with AT&T, Sprint and Verizon. The 16GB Samsung Galaxy Tab S comes down to $399.99, while the 16GB Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro will be available for $199.99.

Best Buy & Walmart

Best Buy's Black Friday Sale starts on Thanksgiving Day at 5 p.m. and ends on Black Friday at 1 a.m. They have released more information in a 47-page Black Friday sales guide.

Walmart is also planning to shell out deals for their Apple products in their "New Black Friday" event, according to Network World.

The retailer is allowing consumers to purchase discounted tech gadgets online starting Thanksgiving morning, or make purchases in their stores on the same day at 6 p.m. They also offered a one-day jumpstart deal on Wednesday.

AT&T, Verizon, Sprint

The iPhone 6 16GB model will sell for $179 with a two-year contract with AT&T, Verizon and Sprint will yield a $75 gift card reward, and trading in a smartphone will add another gift card worth $200. The iPhone 5S 16GB will sell for $75 with a two-year contract and an additional $75 gift card reward.

The 16GB model of the iPad Mini with only WiFi can be bought for $199 with a $30 gift card reward, while an iPad Air 16GB tablet with the same capabilities will be sold for $397 with a $100 gift card reward.

Target

Target is also offering deals for Apple products which will include their own store gift cards, according to Computer World.

Target will sell the Apple 16GB iPad Air 2 for $499 and include a $140 gift card for every purchase. A bought 16GB iPad Mini 3 or iPad Air, which will be worth $399 each, will include a $100 card. A 16GB non-Retina iPad Mini for $249 will come with a $80 gift card.
