Kate Middleton has just given birth to a beautiful baby girl. According to Celebrity Health Fitness, the new princess is named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. All eyes are on the Duchess of Cambridge as she seems to effortlessly shed the baby weight, just like in her first pregnancy with Prince George.

According to Examiner, Middleton has always been conscious about her weight especially after marrying Prince William. Sources close to Middleton for years have said, "Kate's quite figure-conscious and she's very aware that the camera adds a good 10 pounds. She is tiny with no hips."

Describing the Duchess as a "longtime health and fitness buff," Examiner adds that Middleton did prenatal yoga. Celebrity Health Fitness explains that pregnancy yoga prevents excess weight gain and results in a toned body.

The Duchess also followed a healthy low-carb diet which usually forces the body to burn fat as fuel, explains Dr. Eric Westman, an obesity expert. In addition to the exercise and diet, Middleton was active during both pregnancies in an effort to stay in shape, reports Celebrity Health Fitness.

Kate seemed slim and fit less than a day after giving birth to her daughter, reports Examiner. The report adds that just 12 hours after giving birth, the Duchess of Cambridge posed for pictures outside the hospital along with her husband, Prince William, and their son, Prince George.

Emma Sayle, a close friend of Middleton's for years, states, "Kate stayed super-fit by running and hitting the gym."

Sayle further explains, "That helps in bouncing back. Kate loves exercise and did lots of swimming and Pilates while pregnant. It's really helped her lose weight."

Aside from exercising and following a low-carb diet, the Duchess has a couple of other beauty secrets up her sleeve. According to Celebrity Health Fitness, Kate uses Bio-Oil during and after her pregnancy to prevent stretch marks on her belly.

Kate also uses several products to treat her skin, states Celebrity Health Fitness. The royal mother of two uses Trilogy Rosehip Oil to keep her skin wrinkle-free. Meanwhile, to keep her skin glowing and minimize pores, Kate uses Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in bronze and Karin Herzog Oxygen Face Cream.

As for make-up, Kate uses Urban Decay Naked eyeshadow palette to create her smoky eye look and Lancome Hypnose mascara. For her hair, the Duchess uses a vegetable-based hair dye rather than a chemical-based dye, reports Celebrity Health Fitness.
