New rumors are suggesting that the anticipated MacBook Pro 2016 will be released in the middle of the year.

Since the last quarter of 2015, rumor mills have been reporting that Apple will release a new MacBook Pro in 2016. Many are wondering as to when this powerful laptop will be out and that concern will soon be answered.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is hopeful that the MacBook line up will pave the way for Apple's growth this year. He noted that Apple's notebook lineup is experiencing a solid growth.

Kuo also predicted that the Cupertino-based company would increase their sales with the upgrades that will be arriving in June, Apple Insider reported. In the same month, Apple will be having their Worldwide Developers Conference 2016 -- so more likely, the new laptop will be introduced during the event.

Although MacBook Pro has been in the rumor mills for quite some time now, very little is known about the laptop.

There are speculations that it might be arriving with Intel's newest "Skylake" processor.

Skylake platform is the follow-up to Intel's Broadwell and it is packed with improved performance. It boosts CPU speed by 10 to 20 percent and integrated graphic chips by 16 to 41 percent. It also continues the trend towards efficient power use with its smaller 14-nanometer architecture. This powerful platform could also increase battery life by as much as 30 percent.

It is not confirmed yet if MacBook Pro will indeed be arriving with Skylake and Kuo did not mention anything about it. However, many are expecting that it will house the newest Intel processor.

Meanwhile, aside from the MacBook Pro, Apple may launch a bigger version with a 15-inch screen. The new laptop is expected to be thinner and lighter with better screen resolution, Vine Report has learned.

MacRumors suggested that Skylake chips are appropriate for the 15-inch retina MacBook Pro. Per the report, Intel released an updated processor price list this week with several Skylake chips that are potentially great update for the MacBook Pro.

If the 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro will be updated, it would be equipped with any of the following processors: a 2.6 GHz Core i7-6770HQ, a 2.7 GHz Core i7-6870HQ and a 2.8 GHz Core i7-6970HQ, which is all coming in at the same price points as the Haswell variants currently used in the MacBook Pro.

The Mac lineup is overdue for an update and Intel's Skylake delay has hampered Apple's ability to update their models. However, now that Skylake logjam is starting to break, the upcoming units might house it.

Are you hopeful that MacBook Pro 2016 will house the Skylake processor? Do you think it's possible that it will be released in June? Share your thoughts below.
