Samsung and Apple are planning to unveil their flagship smartphones in 2017. Apple iPhone 8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 will be competing next year with their latest technology, however, sources suggest that Apple must watch out Samsung to prevent being off-track.

Rumors are Apple will release the new iPhone 8 with an all-glass screen. After ditching the traditional layout of the Home Screen, Apple will include a glass-based screen that will eventually make the display appear bigger. But seems like Samsung is following the same path. Samsung Galaxy S8 is reportedly rumored to have similar to iPhone 8 and the Home Screen Button will slide under the screen. The end-to-end screen technology came to light last year when it was reportedly being included in iPhone 8.

Samsung could announce its next flagship smartphone in April thereby beating Apple that will unveil its iPhone 8 by September next year, cited by Bloomberg. The Brand "Samsung" had already suffered a lot after reports of Note 7 getting overheat and getting exploded surfaced. Samsung has since making efforts to replacement it which resulted in billions of dollars in losses. Last Year, when Apple announced its iPhone 7, Samsung made its announcement of Note 7 as a blow to Apple and that backfired. Samsung S8 will be built on Samsung S7's architecture which could possibly eliminate the nightmares Samsung had with its Note 7.

Samsung is not only reportedly rolling out its new smartphone but some new features that will give the brand a push in sales compared to Apple. Samsung has five strong points to prove it right. In a report published by BGR, the following are the technology innovation lineup which will help Samsung face Apple head-on.

End-to-end all-Glass Screen - As mentioned above, Samsung is planning to roll out its flagship smartphone in an all-glass display. The Display is no ordinary but with Super AMOLED 2K Ultra UD resolution. The major chunk of bezels will eliminate and the screen seems to be molded across the edge similar to Samsung S7 Edge.

Next Generation Processors - Samsung is known for technological innovation with every successor. Samsung is planning to roll out next-gen processors that will leave just a narrow gap from Apple which is a brand with high-performance gadgets. The Samsung S8 will be running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset which is the fastest Snapdragon chipset ever built. Although the chipset might make way for just the U.S. version, rest all will have similar processors from Exynos series of somewhat same caliber.

No Home Button - Since the Samsung Galaxy S8 will have an all-glass screen running from end to end, the home button will slide into the glass, hence having no physical button to press. The button is available on the screen. Apple iPhone might have the same feature as well.

Say no to Port - This move had been discussed in Latinos Health. After Apple ditched Headphone jack in its iPhone 7 smartphone, Samsung too is reportedly bidding goodbye to the headphone jack for its upcoming Galaxy S8.

Viv - Reports confirmed that one of the creators of Siri - virtual assistant for Apple, has built and sold a newer version of Siri and named it as Viv which was then sold to Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy S8 might have Viv that will give head to not only Siri but Amazon's Alexa.

Samsung reportedly mocked Apple for its decision on removal of Headphone jack, however, Apple has much richer technological heritage than Samsung which made the latter fall prey for the new trend of no Jack. Apple had been giving Samsung a tough time since a long time and it will be fun to watch which brand wins the league.
