Yi Technology to Unveil First Action Camera That Shoots 4K Action Movies at 60fps, Tricopter Erida Drone at CES 2017

An action camera that can shoot 4K Videos at 60 Fps is no longer a tech to come. Yi Technology has already grabbed the opportunity for being the first manufacturer to unveil a 4K @ 60fps camera named as Yi 4K+.

Yi Technology is a China-based company which will unveil the latest Yi 4K+ action camera at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017 that is scheduled from January 5 to 8. The action camera will not be standalone glamor to the show, Yi Technology will launch the Tricopter Erida, as Digital Trends elaborated. Unlike the usual 4K Camera that shoots videos at 30 fps, the Yi 4K+ capture QHD videos at 60 fps that make picture smooth and it also expands the horizon of editing a video. With this technology, Yi Technology became the first manufacturer to unveil the first ever action camera capable of shooting 4K videos at staggering 60fps. 

Engadget welcomed the move b expressing its gratitude for the new generation of camera technology after Yi 4K+ announced its 4K @ 60fps camera along with  Xiaomi who will be releasing its GoPro 4K @ 60fps camera to give head-on competition to the former. 

The Yi 4K+ has some great features to have such as 2 hours of battery life while shooting a 4K video at 60fps which eats up a big chunk of the battery life every time it is used. The model will also allow shoots at lower fps which makes it flexible for use. The device sports a 2.19" display and can stream video over WiFi.  Yi Technology plans to unveil the Tricopter Erida drone alongside 4K+ which is able to travel at a speed of 75mph for straight 40 minutes. The drone has controls for gimbal and sensor system for safer flights,  it has manual exposure adjustments, and foldable rotors to name a few. 
The Consumer Electronics Show will be held in Las Vegas from January 5 to January 8.
