"Clash of Clans" had a busy few weeks following the launch of the December 2016 Update. This time, Supercell announced that they are cancelling support to selected Apple devices. Leaks have also surfaced regarding a special value pack for Chinese New Year Event while other so-called leaks have been debunked.

"Clash of Clans" developer, Supercell, recently announced that they will stop support for Apple devices running on iOS6 and lower. Supercell claims that they are forced to cut their support due to technical reasons which are beyond the game developer's control.

Supercell encourages "Clash of Clans" players to upgrade to their Apple devices to iOS7 to continue enjoying the massively popular online mobile game. That said, the list of Apple devices unable to support the iOS7 update includes the iPhone 3G, iiPhone 3GS, iPad first generation, and iPod Touch 3rd and 4th generations.

The website All Clash reports that a special value pack for the Chinese New Year for "Clash of Clans" have been uncovered by data sweepers combing the game files. The other reported leaks regarding the "Dark Tower," "Air Blaster" and "Mini Spell Factory," among others, have been debunked by the website since most of them are false data or old data, some of which goes as far as the summer of 2016.

In other "Clash of Clans" news, the tool that Supercell uses for its official forum, vBulletin, has been hacked. According to reports, the attackers stole an unknown number of user logins having encrypted passwords. Supercell urges everyone logging into the official forum site to change their passwords for their safety.

The new events and tweaks introduced by "Clash of Clans" were received with mostly positive reactions from gamers who have stuck with the game for the longest time. While Supercell's move to stop support for the selected Apple devices is bad news to everyone still using outdated iOS, "Clash of Clans" players still have a lot to look forward with the upcoming updates including the special Chinese New Year Packs.
