After Michael Douglas publicly started the rumors of Val Kilmer having oral cancer, Val has taken it upon himself to clear out all sorts of doubts and bring the truth to light.

His first statement was, "I love Michael Douglas but he is misinformed."

Kilmer wrote a long paragraph on his Facebook page where he assured his fans that he is not suffering from any sort of cancer. He is actually in great health and shall be directing and producing the movie "Mark Twain and Mary Baker Eddy".

It is not yet been confirmed why Douglas made such horrendous claims but referring to cancer, he was diagnosed with tongue cancer in 2010. After being treated by extensive radiation treatment and elaborate chemotherapy he was cured in 2011.

After that, with 2 years Michael did not think twice before blatantly accusing his wife of transferring to him an HPV that experts believe was contracted during oral sex. Douglas then sought to apologize to his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones.

It was already a difficult time between them both in their marriage and the couple was going through a brief separation. Now, once more, Michael did not hesitate in spreading rumors about Val's alleged oral cancer.

His statement read, "you haven't heard much from Val lately because he has cancer." Although Douglas had no say in the matter even IF it was true Val made sure everyone knew that there were no hard feelings between the pair.

Val added in his long Facebook post, "Whatever led Michael Douglas to speculate about my health, he's a loving and devoted friend and I'm sure he meant no harm." He also didn't forget to say that he and Michael haven't been in touch since 2 years.

Val Kilmer also cleared out the doubts towards the lump in his throat. He followed a treatment regime from a UCLA team. Val is not sure what exactly was the problem in his throat back then but it certainly was not cancer.
