Although Blac Chyna is engaged and set to marry Rob Kardashian, the Kardashian clan does not want her owning the Kardashian moniker.Kim Kardashian West, Kourtney Kardashian, and Khloe Kardashian's companies are supposedly going after the 28-year-old reality star Blac Chyna (nee Angela Renee White).

Chyna is looking to trademark "Angela Renee Kardashian" to use while working in entertainment and on her social media, which will likely be her married name once she and Rob Kardashian make it official. However, Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian are opposing the request.

Blac Chyna insider told People that "The Kardashians own their trademarks in most categories worldwide, and the trademark attorneys' standard practice is to oppose anyone who tries to file anything. They probably did not even know it was happening."

The documents in question reportedly argue that Blac Chyna, Dream Kardashian's mother, is deliberately seeking to profit from the goodwill and popularity of the Kardashians by changing her name to the E! family's famous moniker.

The source went ahead to say that "She is not trying to do anything negative. She wants to trademark the name because it will be her name when she gets married and she wants to protect it. It is also her daughter's last name and she wants to share a last name with her daughter."

According to Yahoo, the Kardashian sisters' companies claim they will suffer damage including irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill if Chyna takes the Kardashian name.

Although Chyna and Rob got engaged in April, there is no plans for a wedding just yet. It was also reported that Chyna was more than excited, she was super happy soon after the engagement news broke, adding that she plans going by her birth name, which is Angela White.

Representatives for the Kardashians and Blac Chyna did not immediately respond to People's request for comment.
