The highly anticipated superheroes movie "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" has officially learned their MPAA rating and it is rated PG-13. This is not actually a surprise, considering that there are "intense sequences of violence and action throughout, and some sensuality.”

Sensuality? Wait, what movie are we talking about again?

Cinema Blend dissects the possible reason why Zack Snyder's upcoming epic film will be described as a movie with "some sensuality". Is the MPAA pointing at Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman character because, being an Amazonian warrior, Wonder Woman will be sporting a less than conservative costume? Or, will she be involved in a steamy, romantic scene with Bruce Wayne, played by Ben Affleck?

In the animated series, The Justice League, Bruce and Diana Prince were depicted as sort-of lovers, starting off with the episode "This Little Piggy", where Bruce saved Diana when she was transformed into a pig. During the Thanagarian invasion, they were seen making out as civilians to escape from their pursuers.

Of course, the announcement of the rating will not be complete without rocking the Twitterverse and fans joking about it, the most ridiculous one being a Superman and Batman blossoming romance.

GQ writes that the "some sensuality" part of the rating is unheard of in superheroes movies. Admittedly, there were romantic relationships such as Captain America's Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell and The Dark Knight's Christian Bale and Maggie Gyllenhaal but aside from these, the world of superheroes remains to be chaste. The sex scenes, if any, were depicted well and not as sensual as the word describes it.

Either way, the rating may be telling that something unheard of will be part of the film, making the fans even more excited about the movie. Additionally, Jesse Eisenberg, who plays Lex Luthor, adds fire to the already burning gossip with his comments that the "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be interesting to not just the average comic book fan, Screen Rant adds.

In a recent interview, Eisenberg shares the film will tackle topics that are important and sophisticated, thanks fully to writer Chris Terrio's brilliance and capacity. The actor also noted how the film was able to discuss geopolitical issues, conveying a message that moviegoers can grasp and understand.

Whatever the reason behind the comment MPAA gave regarding their rating, all questions will be answered as "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" opens on March 25 next year.
