Many fans showed their disappointment after seeing the leaked test footage of “Deadpool” on the Internet, but Ryan Reynolds appeared to be undeterred by the negative feedback and even thanks them for making the movie happen. Furthermore, he shared that his character is not afraid of the other superhero movies coming out next year, even joking that Deadpool’s greatest superpower will make the likes of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” “X-Men: Apocalypse,” and “Captain America: Civil War” angry.

Game Radar reports that in an interview where “The Proposal” actor was asked if he is intimidated by his big-name competitors, Reynolds cheekily answered that Deadpool’s superpower is to annoy people so he’ll probably end up sparking animosity against other groups, making him extremely fearless and unyielding. Blake Lively’s husband even shared that he is proud of what the movie has become, even getting an R rating when they only had a modest budget to begin with.

Previous reports have apparently pegged Reynolds to be the main reason why the movie pushed through but the actor denied it saying, "I wouldn’t say I spent every single day emailing the studio heads at Fox saying, 'You’ve got to make this movie.’”He stated that when the fans saw the leaked test footage, that was actually what triggered Twentieth Century Fox to give “Deadpool” the green light.

In the comic books, Deadpool has no permanent allegiance because he has always been moving from one group to another, not getting the real acceptance that he needs, Movie Pilot writes. His innate childish ways has been the main reason why this superhero flies solo and, being the titular character, how fans and moviegoers will embrace his story will be the primary pull as to whether Deadpool will be a hit or a miss. Thankfully, there are other supporting characters to act as his sidekicks that can boost the interest of the audience.

Fans may find Copycat or Vanessa Carlysle, Deadpool’s girlfriend, to be interesting. In the movie, she will be played by “Firefly” actress Morena Baccarin and while she seemed normal and not a mutant in the trailer, fans will have to wait how her interesting story will unfold. Furthermore, there’s Angel Dust, which will be played by MMA Fighter Gina Carano, who was a minor character in the comic books but will now appear as a strong villain from Ajax.

Besides the cast and characters, “Deadpool” will have a well-known composer to create the music score, Vine Report adds. Tom Holkenborg, who made a reputation for his music scores in movies such as “Mad Max: Fury Road,” “The Dark Knight Rises,” and “Man of Steel.”

With the major players on board, headed by director Tim Miller, fans can now increase their anticipation and forget about the leaked footage. “Deadpool” is set to debut on February 12, 2016.
