Samsung's flagship phone in their Galaxy S line is rumored to come out in Feb. or March 2016, according to Tech Radar. The Korean smartphone maker allegedly announces its flagship devices at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona every year so it has been speculated that the S7 will be announced during that time.

However, another report states that the Samsung Galaxy S7 might come out earlier. According to G For Games, an SK Securities analyst claims that the S7 will be announced in January 2016 and then scheduled to be released next month in February. The report by the outlet also stated that it is unclear if the phone's release will only be applicable to South Korea or to the rest of the world.

Additionally, the claim by the analyst allegedly holds more weight as SK Securities is part of one of the largest conglomerates in SoKor, SK Group which owns SK Telecom, the country's top providers of mobile phone service.

Android Pit cited a Vietnamese report that states Samsung is testing 5.2 inch screen and 5.8-inch sceen models. The first one may be for the Galaxy S7 and the latter would be the S7 Edge. It has also been claimed that the S7 will be made with different processing chips for models sold in different parts of the world. The report cites SamMobile which claims that India's Galaxy S7 will be made with Exynos 7422. As for China and the US models, it will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. For Japan, Europe and Korea, it will have the Exynos 8890.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 will reportedly have two variants, one with 3GB RAM and another LTE version with 4GB RAM and will run on Android Marshmallow.

As for one of the anticipated features of one of Samsung's newest flagship smartphones, it is rumored that Galaxy S7 might come with Synaptics' ClearForce technology which is parallel to Apple's 3D Touch. The technology allows the phone to know what the user wants to see depending on the type of touch they employ. According to Extreme Tech, Huawei's Mate S smartphone also has the ClearForce feature.

According to Daily Mail, Synaptics announced the development of the technology this month. The company stated that they are in collaboration with companies to have their smartphones come with the ClearForce.

"This exciting next step in human interface for smartphones will soon become the norm and highlights Synaptics' leadership in force," said Kevin Barber of Synaptics. "'Early adopters of ClearForce include industry leading OEMs and LCMs seeking advanced technology that drives an enhanced and more productive user experienced."
