Need gluten-free treats for Halloween? No need to worry as we have you covered with these five delicious and easy to make recipes.

1.    Roasted pumpkin seeds

Keep the seeds you have collected after carving and decorating pumpkins for Halloween. According to Gluten Free Ville, the seeds can be roasted and dipped in butter and margarine for a sweet and creamy treat for kids.

The recipe recommends adding sugar and some spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg or pumpkin spice. For the grownups, just dip the roasted seeds in Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce for a crunchy, savory snack.

2.    Halloween worms

Skip the gummy worms you see at the supermarket and make your own. You can replace the juices with any type you like, as indicated in this recipe on About Food.

The ingredients are easy to find as well. All you need is sugar, fruit juices, some corn syrup and unflavored gelatin.

With this recipe from About Food, you have the option of using a single flavor of juice or making dual-colored worms by using two varieties fruit juices. Food coloring can also be added if you want to add more pop to your worms.

3.    Chocolate-covered sponge candies

Sink your teeth into these sweet gluten free delights, courtesy of Fork and Beans. These are not only easy to make, but also great for vegans as well.

All you need for this recipe is some vegan butter, vegan sugar, water, baking soda and light corn syrup. What you end up with is a chocolate treat that is reminiscent of Butterfingers.

The recipe says it only takes 7 minutes to make a batch that is enough to serve up to 20 kids, or adults with a sweet tooth.

4.    Caramel-flavored popcorn balls

This tasty treat comes from Healthful Pursuit. Aside from being easy to make, what makes this sweet recipe incredible is that it is free of nuts, grains, dairy, yeast, refined sugars, gluten and great for vegans too.

All you need is some popped corn, raisins, coconut sugar, maple syrup, virgin coconut oil, sea salt and some pure vanilla extract.  In just 15 minutes, you have enough treats to keep eight kids happy and content.

5.    Bloodied eyeballs

Get creative with this peanut buttery recipe from Gluten Free Ville. Dip the balls in white chocolate and add as many veins as you want.

Gather several of these bloodshot eyeballs on a plate or bowl for a truly cool and wicked treat for kids on Halloween.
