A copy of the magazine “Auto Express” showing the photos of a very handsome, blue 2016 BMW M2 has leaked online and car aficionados have been having a field day, with some saying the German automobile company has finally answered all their prayers. The Bavarian sports car looked a lot like it is ready to revive the old E30 M3 series, especially now that it seems ready to throw punches on all of its competitors.

SPECS

Car Scoops writes that while the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe is the smallest of all the M series, it will similarly gets it power from the incredible 3.0L inline-six unit of the M235i but will be boosted with 7000 RPM or 365 HP and 465 Nm torque. Besides the initial torque power, it will also be capable of increasing it by 33 Nm.

Automobile Mag adds that BMW’s special components will also be added on the M2 coupe such as the rings, bearings, pistons, high-temperature spark plugs, and even a manual transmission gearbox. Due to its six-speed manual, fans can expect to speed up to 60 MPH in more or less 4.4 seconds, which makes the 2016 BMW M2 less than a second faster than the M235i manual transmission.

FEATURES

The rogue and bullish design come to work as a functional element for the M2 coupe, Autor Car reports. The front bumper will have winglets to allow cooled air in the enlarged ducts; a kidney grille to highlight the company’s M logo; the latest line and chrome highlights to house the repeater lights; and a wider front and rear ends to add to the bulk of the car.

M Dynamic Mode will allow more playfulness in the 2016 BMW M2 coupe stability control, making the wheels produced controlled drifts, Automobile Mag states. Furthermore, there will a multi-mode exhaust to pick on different exhaust tones for each driving modes. The interior also is a beauty to look at, with black leather seats featuring a blue stitching and side bolsters that can be adjusted, Alcantara all over the door panels, and a luxurious steering wheel with the iconic M sports that is wrapped in leather as well.

PRICE & RELEASE DATE

Auto Car shares that the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe will officially be available to the public in April 2016, with a probable cost of £44,070 ($67,640).
