While fans are still digesting their awe and amazement brought about by the release of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, it looks like they may need to hurry up because the leaked photos of the Galaxy S7 Edge from 3D Future appear totally out of this world.

Design and Concepts

The site shares that the photos were based on the most recent Samsung patent, depicting the South Korean's flagship smartphone with revised edges. Instead of the usual side edges, the Galaxy S7 Edge will have it on the top and bottom part of the phone, looking extremely luxurious with full metal body coverage.

Besides the new design, the Galaxy S7 Edge will features that were used by its predecessors, such as the buttons, microphone and speaker. The smartphone will also be waterproof as hinted by the well covered USB slot. The new design and experimenting concepts appear to be Samsung's answer to Apple's iPhone 6s, which was unveiled last month.

Rumors and Speculations

Value Walk reports that with the new design exciting the market, users will be even more surprised with the rumored specs Samsung has prepared for the Galaxy S7 Edge. As Apple seem to try and eliminate its Home Button due to the release of its 3D Touch technology, Samsung is apparently signing up to get the same technology for all of its Galaxy variants. Speculations have emerged that once this new smartphone is released, it will have a definition of its own.

The introduction of more curved screen devices in the market also appears to be the main goal of Samsung, with rumored documents showing that the S series, starting with the Galaxy S7 Edge, will outsell the other flat screen variant. Furthermore, Apple seems to be following on Samsung's footsteps as the company is said to be in production of its very first curved screen, a possibility in the iPhone 7?

Another hot topic is the USB socket that the Galaxy S7 Edge will sport, The Inquistr adds. Reports of a new type-C USB port are circulating the Internet, the same concept that the Nexus 5X, One Plus 2, and Xiaomi Mi 4C are donning. This state-of-the-art USB port will have two similar ends, making it reversible. It makes transferring of data easier and faster than standard USB cords that even 10GB can be transferred in a second.

While there is still no official announcement as to when the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will be unveiled, rumor has it that the announcement will occur sometime in the first quarter of 2016.
