According to CNET, the Google Nexus smartphones LG-made 5X and Huwaei-made 6P will be on sale on Nov. 3 in Australia. Pre-orders for the phones that will run on Google's Android 6.0 are now available through the Australian Google Play store.

Tech Radar reports that the Nexus 5X will be available in three colors including Quartz White, Carbon Black and Ice Blue. It is priced at $659 for the 16GB version and $739 for the 32GB one.

For the Nexus 6P, only the 64GB version is available for now. This smartphone is available in Graphite or Aluminum and costs $999. The 32GB is priced at $899 and the 128GB costs $1099. All handsets come with the latest Android OS, the Marshmallow.

For folks who want to avail the smartphones on plan, CNET reports that the 5X will only have Telstra as the carrier for the 32GB version in Black or Blue. The plans include Go Mobile which is payable at AU$70 per month and a 24-month contract for minimum AU$1,680.

Vodafone and Optus offer the Nexus 6P on plan. Optus has the 32GB aluminum phone and Vodafone has the 64GB version.

As for the design and specs, the International Business Times gives a review on the two smartphones.

The Nexus 5X weights 136 grams at 147mm x 72.3 mm and is 7.9 mm thick. It is made of moulded polycarbonate plastic.

The Nexus 6P comes in an all-metal body with an aluminum frame with smooth corners.

For the display, the 5X has a 5.2 inch HD display with 423 ppi pixel density. The 6P has AMOLED display with an sRGB developer setting if you want to customize its visuals.

The Nexus 5X is powered by a six-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor while the 6P is made with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810.

For the camera, both have a 12.3 MP main camera but the 6P has an 8MP sensor.

For the battery life, the 5X comes with a 2700 mAh battery, while the 6P has a 3450 mAh battery, PC World reports.

All in all, when the two are compared together, the Nexus 6P packs more punch. However, the 3D Touch feature cannot be used as it is not available in Android devices except for the Huawei Mate S, Tech Times reports. The outlet and critics alike advises buyers to go for the 6P because its specs, battery life and price are more worth it.
