The zombies are back in action in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" in the pre-bonus map called "The Giant Zombie Mode." Watch the trailer here.

The third game in the Call of Duty Black Ops franchise is scheduled to be released on Nov. 6. "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be playable in PlayStation3, PS4, PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The trailer for the highly ancticipated Zombies mode called "Shadows of Evil" was released by Sony during Paris Games Week.

It will have its own storyline and according to Christian Post, the Zombies mode will be set in the 1940's in the fictional city of Morg. The mode is revamped and now includes itws own XP and progression system. It will have four characters: the magician, the boxer, the femme fatale and the detective. Game producer Jason Blundell stated: "It's the biggest Zombies map we've ever done. It's large in terms of complexity, but also in verticality - there are so many ways to move around the city. Canals, scaffolding... there's even a tram transit system."

In "The Giant Zombie Mode," four game characters, Dempsey, Takeo, Nikolai and Richthofen will team together to fight zombies while trying to go to safety. Players can play solo or multiplayer. Independent reports that campaigns can be played through online co-op and the missions of the campaigns can be played in any order without having to unlock the first ones. This means that players who have not progressed further into the game can join their friends into advanced missions. They also have the option of skipping difficult missions should they find themselves stuck in a particular level.

Additionally, in the multiplayer mode, gamers can choose a character or a 'specialist.' Specialists have unique abilities and weapons. There will be nine specialists with their very own backstories.

For the game's Season Pass, iDigital Times reports that it will only be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC for £35. It will not be available for Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3. Additionally, the last gen consoles will also not have the Campaign Mode. Xbox and PS3 versions will only have Multiplayer and Zombies.

"Season Pass will be available only on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms. Availability of individual DLC packs for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms may vary. More information will be announced at a later date," Activision said in a report by Video Gamer.
