The highly anticipated "Tekken 7" will be coming to PlayStation 4 with exclusive content.

Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. director and producer Katsuhiro Harada unveiled "Tekken 7" during Sony's Paris Game Week Conference 2015. A trailer was also shown showcasing all the series in the franchise. It was also revealed during the conference that the game will come to PS4 and will be coming to PlayStation VR and Xbox One as well.

According to the report by IGN, there is currently no official release date yet but the game will have arcade versions first before they become available in consoles.

In a statement published via Bandai Namco's website, it was revealed that the storyline of "Tekken 7" will revolve around the Mishima family with clan matriarch Kazumi Mishima joining the fight between husband, Heihachi Mishima and son, Kazuya Mishima.

"With the Tekken franchise celebrating its 20th anniversary; the newest chapter of the series returns to its gameplay roots with classic 1 vs 1 bouts and its canon storyline centered on the eternal struggle for power amongst the members of the Mishima clan," the studio wrote as reported by Gematsu. "With newcomer Kazumi Mishima joining the fight, the epic battle between father and son, and also husband and wife, will come to its fated conclusion in Tekken 7."

It was also revealed that the console versions will have story modes that will soon reveal the story behind the scuffle of the Mishima clan. Additionally, the console versions of the game will also have new modes and "numerous mode enhancements" which will allegedly make it more superior than its arcade version.

"In its first appearance on home systems, Tekken 7 will feature numerous modes and enhancements beyond its arcade counterpart, including an in-depth story mode that lets players fully experience the canon storyline."

There are seven new characters added to the fighter roster including Heihachi's wife, Kazumi Mishima. She is joined by Claudio, Lucky Chloe, Katarina, Josie, Gigas and Shaheen, according to the "Tekken 7" official website. Recurring characters of course include Mishima father and son, Heihachi and Kazuya. As well as new and seasoned fighters Lili, King, Leo, Steve, Paul, Xiaoui, Hwoarang, Bryan, Dragunov, Jin, Devil Jin, Marshall Law and more.

The game will be powered by Unreal Engine 4 which supposedly has high standard graphics to make the characters more fluid and more detailed against different battle arenas. The game was made under the leadership of Harada and developed at Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. Japan.
