Click the video below to watch Po reunite with his Poppa in the newest trailer for the "Kung Fu Panda 3."

In the trailer, we see Po (Jack Black) reuniting with long lost father Li (Bryan Cranston). Together, they journey to a hidden panda village located in the mountains. Po is welcomed with open arms as he marvels the villagers who look similar to him.

We then see Kai (J.K. Simmons) threaten all of China when he attacked the valley. The trailer revealed that Kai is plotting to get back to those who were close to Master Oogway (turtle who was master of Tai Chi in the first "Kung Fu Panda" film played by Randall Duk Kim). Po is forced to change from student to master as he is tasked to teach his friends, especially his panda brethren, the way of the kung fu to save the village.

Below is the official synopsis to the movie via DreamWorks:

"When Po's long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new panda characters. But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible-learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas!"

Joining Black, Cranston, Kim and Simmons are Angelina Jolie as the voice of Tigress, Seth Rogen as Mantis, Jackie Chan as Monkey, Lucy Liu as Viper, David Cross as Crane and Dustin Hoffman as Warrior trainer Master Shifu.

Rebel Wilson was supposed to play a character but was ultimately replaced by Kate Hudson. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hudson will voice Mei Mei, a new character who is a "crazy ribbon-dancing" panda who has taken an obsession to Po. The site explains that Wilson had to let go of the project due to conflict of schedules.

According to Coming Soon, the 3rd movie is directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Alessandro Carloni. The script is written by Glenn Berger and Jonathan Aibel. The first two movies that were shown in 2008 and 2011 both garnered an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Featured Film and generated $1.3 billion in the box office around the world.

"Kung Fu Panda 3" will be in theaters on Jan. 29, 2016.
