"Clash of Clans" fans have had their hopes up anticipating the release of the game's latest update this November, only for them to be brought back down to earth with the announcement from Supercell, the developer and publisher of this immensely popular freemium mobile MMO (massively multiplayer online) game, that things are still in the works. The excitement have died down, if only for a bit, but here they go again teasing the fans with some interesting tidbits on the upcoming update--- and we are not complaining.

"Amidst the Town Hall 11 hype, we mentioned at ClashCon that the CoC Team has been taking a big-picture look at what it means to play Clash," Supercell wrote in one of their community forums. "Even if you're not ready to go to Town Hall 11, the coming update is absolutely packed with quality-of-life changes that aim to improve the way everybody plays CoC, every single day."

One of the much-awaited new features that was already mentioned earlier is the Town Hall 11. A lot of fans were already looking forward to this high-level structure that could boost the offensive against ground and air enemies judging on the sneak peek shown during the October ClashCon, Design&Trend noted. So, forget about the amount of gems this new Town Hall is sure to command for its cost, it will, definitely, be worth the wait.

But, aside from Town Hall 11, Supercell revealed that the CoC gamers would also be getting some modifications in other areas of the game. They will introduce changes in shields, which include a new concept called "Village Guard." They also mentioned other new features to watch out for like session timers and the personal break, multiplayer matchmaking, league bonuses and high-level trophy calculations. The team, though, was quite stingy in elaborating on the details for now.

Supercell also announced the schedule of a two-week sneak peek that will surely serve as a good build-up for the upgrade release now expected to be sometime in early December. It will start on the week of November 23 and planned topics include Shields (Part I): Attacking and Defending; Shields (Part II): The Village Guard and Personal Breaks; Matchmaking, Trophy Offers and League Bonuses; More Update Sneak Peeks; and Town Hall 11 (including a new defense and a new hero).

"We realize this update has been a long update in coming, but we are taking the time we need to make sure all of the delicate upcoming changes are as well tested and well balanced as possible," the game developer assured their fans. "We want to make sure that we have time to go over everything as we finish up our balancing and testing!"
