Amy Poehler and Tina Fey reunite once again as they co-host a special Christmas episode of "Saturday Night Live" with Ryan Gosling.

The last episode for the late-night comedy show this year will air on Dec. 19, NBC announced the news on Twitter this week. The musical guest will be Bruce Springsteen.

The photo tweeted by the company also showed the hosts and musical guests before the Christmas special. Ryan Gosling is set to debut his first time to host the show on Dec. 5 with Leon Bridges as the musical guest. The next Saturday, Chris Hemsworth will be hosting for the second time with Chance The Rapper as the musical guest.

Fey and Poehler are both alumni of the show with the former who is also the creator of the TV show "30 Rock" leaving the show in 2006 while the "Parks and Recreation" star left the show in 2008.

According to US Magazine, Fey was a writer of the "SNL" in 1997 but became a co-anchor of the segment "Weekend Update" in 2000. She left the show to create her own show "30 Rock" which ended in 2013. Her most memorable impersonations include that of former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin who made frequent cameos in the show during the 2008 election. Poehler was a cast member of the show from 2001 to 2008 and joined Fey in co-hosting the Weekend Update. She is also known for making impressions of Hillary Clinton.

The two comedians often collaborate as seen as how they have co-hosted the Golden Globes awarding ceremony for three years from 2012 to 2015, according to Washington Post.

Next month, Fey and Poehler will be co-starring in "Sisters" which will be out in theaters on Dec. 18, a day before their hosting stint at "SNL."

Fey and Poehler will play as sisters Kate and Maura in their R-rated movie "Sisters" where the wild child Kate and the uptight Maura go back to their childhood house and give one last party before it gets sold.

In an interview with Pop Sugar, the two shared that neither had any female siblings while growing up. Poehler adds that she grew up obsessed with having one and thinks that she and Fey are "chosen sisters." The film is directed by Jason Moore and written by Paula Pell.
