Wargaming.net's project leader TJ Wagner has just announced that "World of Tanks" will be holding an open beta on PlayStation 4 come Dec. 4 to 6. The interested gamers just have to download the game, which is free of charge and no registrations needed.

"'What is World of Tanks?' you may be asking yourself. Well simply put, it's the most successful tank action, MMO shooter out there and now it's coming to PlayStation 4," Wagner said in the Sony PlayStation Blog. "World of Tanks is completely free-to-play, it costs nothing to check it out and nothing to reach the furthest point in the game. There's no pay-to-win here as all premium items are cosmetic or help you earn experience faster."

The good thing about this free open beta is that any progress that the players gain will be carried over to the full game when it will be released. This could give the beta users some sort of a head start against others.

This multiplayer video game allows the player to control a tank of his own choosing before going into a battle on a random map. There are different kinds of tanks from different countries like the U.S., Russia, and Germany. There are also five different classes of tanks to choose from: light scouts, medium brawlers, heavy monsters, tank destroyers and Artillery.

The battleground will be set at various maps around the world, such as in lush jungles, barren deserts, dense cities, among others. It will be played in 15 versus 15 multiplayer battles. And after every match, you can earn rewards that you can use to upgrade and customize your existing tanks with supplies, equipment, camos, emblems and inscriptions, or you can have your new tanks if you want.

Another video game is set to arrive to PlayStation 4, as well as to Xbox One, is the PC multiplayer game "Chivalry: Medieval Warfare," according to Venture Beat. This 24-player combat game, developed and published by Torn Banner Studios, will be released on December 1.

The players of the game will be in for some gory and vicious melee where they have to survive by taking down their enemies, medieval style. The characters make use of various weaponry, such as swords, battle axes, and bows. The game was earlier released for PC back in 2012, and to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 several months ago.
