Hoping to impress your guests with food but have basic to no skills in the kitchen? Here are simple and easy 3-ingredient desserts that you can make that are economical and fool-proof.

Whether you need desserts for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter or any occasion potlucks and dinner parties, we've curated an uncomplicated list of 3-ingredient desserts you can prepare and share.

1.) Nutella brownies

Brownies are always an awesome dessert for any occasion. If you have it in Nutella, all the more the better. This dish from Cheap Recipe Blog only needs Nutella, flour, and egg. These are ingredients that you may already have in your kitchen. However, make sure you have the European Nutella instead of the American one because the author of the blog insists on it for its stronger hazelnut flavor.

2.) Brigadeiro Lamingtons

This is a dessert that originates from Argentina and although these are normally caramel flavored, this recipe was made even more special by Delicious Delicious Delicious. All you need are a can of condensed milk, cocoa powder for the special chocolate flavor and desiccated coconut for garnish. It is a bit messy to make because it requires you to manually roll out the ball in your hand so we don't recommend you making this at the last minute dressed in fine clothes. Not unless you want to get dirty anyway.

3.) No bake oreo truffles

Oreo and truffles sound so good in one sentence, doesn't it? Although it sounds sophisticated, this recipe from Chef in Training only requires Double Stuffed Oreos, cream cheese, and dipping chocolate. For dipping chocolate, you can either use your favorite kind of chocolate but a recommendation would be to use white chocolate to give the dessert a mouthwatering contrast.

4.) Cherry almond cake

Cake made out of three ingredients? Not impossible as proven by Better Recipes. Although you may need to cheat a little. The recipe calls for 1 box Angel Food Cake Mix, cherry pie filling and sliced almonds for garnish. All you need is to follow the instructions for the cake mix and add the pie filling and some almond extract if you want.

5.) Peanut butter cups

For guests who love chocolate and peanut butter, this recipe should come in handy. All you literally need are chocolate chips, peanut butter, and sea salt, according to Leeves and Berries. The great thing about this recipe is you are free to make it as little or as big as you want.

6.) Fruit fool

According to The Kitchn, this recipe is a traditional British one and works with almost any kind of fruit. All you need are fresh fruit, sugar whipping cream and some elbow grease. You need a bit of patience to prepare this one, but it will come out worth it in the end.
