The secret to Gwen Stefani's weight loss are a low-carb diet and intense body workouts. Her vegan diet consists mainly of vegetables, egg white omelettes, tuna salads, protein shakes and drinking lots of water. The singer avoids carb-rich foods such as rice, white bread, and pasta, according to Celebrity Health Fitness

"A diet of minimally processed foods close to nature—predominantly plants—is decisively associated with health promotion and disease prevention," said Dr. David Katz from Yale University's Prevention Research Center.

The reason why Stefani still looks so young and vibrant at 46 may be because of her diet. Dr. Katz adds that a vegan diet is anti-aging and can lead to natural weight loss.

For Stefani's fitness secrets, her slim body is the product of working out five days a week via cardio exercise and strength training.

"I work out five days a week, I can't imagine not doing it," Gwen said, reports Examiner. "I'd like to have no rules and eat what I want, but I've learned over the years that I'm so disappointed when I can't wear the clothes I want to wear.

The singer adds that staying fit and healthy is "an ongoing battle" and feels guilty when she skips working out.

Stefani's personal trainer Gunnar Peterson has spilled the beans on how the singer maintains her sexy body. Peterson says that focusing cardio can go a long way with burning calories. He recommends rowing because it is easier on the body and makes use of its muscles, Fitness Magazine reports. Peterson adds that the way to sculpt a sexy body is to target the arms, legs, butt and core with exercise.

Despite the cheating news of ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, Gwen Stefani looks happy and it has mainly something to do with her new beau Blake Shelton who is a co-coach in the singing reality show "The Voice."

"It's nice to see her happy again after being in an unhappy marriage with a cheater for so long," a source who is in the family told US Magazine.

Coincidentally, Blake Shelton is going through a divorce with Miranda Lambert as well and has considerably shed some weight since then.

His "divorce weight loss" can be attributed to his push mower, E! Online reports.

"I realized this summer that my lawn needed mowing," Shelton said. "And I looked in the garage and I have a push mower. You know, I'm not trying to be cocky or nothin' but I'm out there push mowin' my stupid lawn like, 'What am I doin'?'"
