Khloe Kardashian has lost several pounds and gained several new fans along the way. She said she owes her weight loss to exercising, diet and anger.

On the Khloe app, fans gain access to exclusive videos of the reality TV star.

"I work out so much better when I am sad or upset. I have so much energy when I am angry," Kardashian said on her video.

The last few months have proven to be difficult for the celebrity says Heat World. Her former husband, NBA basketball player Lamar Odom, had recently been hospitalized after being discovered unresponsive in a brothel due to a possible overdose of sexual stimulants, alcohol and drugs.

She still visits her ex even while recovering from a staph infection.

"Everyone is allowed to have their day, everyone is allowed to feel bad, but you got to get over it. So, either go to the gym, watch a funny movie, watch some good light-hearted TV, or call one of your girlfriends that always make you laugh," Khloe added on the video.

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star admits to not following any of the popular diets, even eating ice cream on occasion, although these days, she tries to eat more healthy foods. Her newly published book, "Strong Looks Better Naked," reveals some of her eating secrets.

"I think most diets are torture, which is why I don't believe in them. But, as is true with exercise, when you make a change and feel the benefits, you want to stick with it.

"And you know what else? If I want a piece of cake one night, I'll have my piece of cake!"

People details her typical routine which consists of getting up as early as 5 a.m. and drink black coffee and a huge glass of water. After a two hour workout, the celebrity eats oatmeal with a protein shake and another glass of water.

Her personal diet consists of eating a lot of fruits, vegetables, fruits and nuts.

Khloe does cook for the family on Sundays. Although some of her dishes are unhealthy, such as breaded chicken, she makes sure to eat lots of vegetables on the side to balance it out.

When traveling, the author reveals that she packs healthy snacks to keep hunger pangs at bay. This includes protein powder and some butter packs.

Even during holidays or when traveling, Kardashian suggests never forgetting to exercise. She said performing planks and squats can be done almost anywhere, so there is no excuse for people not to exercise.
