Say goodbye to the "not-so-effective" commercialized diet pills now! Why bother buying them when it is possible to lose weight in the most natural weight - eating spicy foods? Yes! According to an article published in Livestrong, hot sauce is a very effective tool in weight loss.

Hot sauce is effective in making a dish much tastier -- as it adds flavor -- without having the need to add more calorie content to it. Aside from that, it is also great at increasing metabolism. Last but not the least, it is superb in burning fat.

Consuming spicy sauce can give an individual to better satiety level. It also increases one's energy expenditure. Once a person's energy level rises, he tends to be more active. Becoming active means sweating more and sweating more means burning fat. This is how the spicy sauce works in helping people lose and maintain their ideal weight.

Aside from increasing metabolism and burning fat, it's been found that it is absolutely great for a person's health.

According to Time, hot sauce is healthy, considering the fact that it contains capsaicin, which has anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer effects.

David Popovich, a senior lecturer at Massey University in New Zealand, studied the bioactive compounds found in plants. He also studied capsaicin and its health-related benefits.

According to him, capsaicin is effective in fighting cancer as it triggers "apoptosis." It is a process where cancer cells commit suicide and encourages cell turnover.

Also, The Guardian stated that eating spicy foods has been linked to the longevity of one's life.

There was a study conducted studying more or less 500,000 people in China -- a country where there are a lot of people who love spicy foods -- in a span of seven years.

The study concluded that those people who eat at least once or twice a week has decreased their death risk by 10 percent compared to those who do not. Also, it is shown that those who eat spicy foods between thrice to seven times a week showed 14 percent decrease of death risk. This just means that the more a person eats spicy foods, the more he reduces the risk of death.

Considering the health and weight loss benefits of spicy sauce, it would be much better for people to choose this way of burning fat rather than going for an unsafe diet pill that might cost them their health.
