Nintendo is teasing all the "Mario and Luigi" fans out there with their latest release of the "Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam" trailer. The video game is the latest title from one of the most beloved franchises in gaming history. The new video clip, which Nintendo posted in YouTube on Dec. 7, is entitled, "Just the Fax."

According to Siliconera, the new trailer of the game developed by AlphaDream and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS offers the fans and gamers alike a glance at the possible game's plot. Based on the video, one can also make out the various ways Mario, Luigi, and Paper Mario can team up in order to defeat their adversaries and hurdle the different challenges and obstacles along the way. The trailer also shows how the amiibos can be used to help create special Character Cards in the game.

The "Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam" game, which is referred to as "Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Bros." by gamers in Australia and Europe, was already released in Japan, Australia and Europe as early as the first week of December. For the North American market, however, gamers would have to wait until its release date on Jan. 22, 2016. The video game will hit the U.S. stores next year and will come available at a price of $39.99 (MSRP).

This new 3DS title is a cross between the Mario franchise's two RPG iterations, the "Mario & Luigi" series and the "Paper Mario games."

"Paper Mario jumps out of the book and into the bizarre adventures of Mario & Luigi, resulting in hilarious and dangerous hijinks," wrote Nintendo Australia. "Become the superstar team of Mario, Luigi and Paper Mario to take on quests, take down enemies and untangle these two unique universes in this playful new entry in the Mario & Luigi series."

The gameplay, meanwhile, can feel can be very familiar for those who have been playing the Mario role-playing game (RPG) series, wrote Destructoid in its review. There is still the usual turn-based battle, which is common to many strategy-RPG games, where the player has to choose how to launch the attack. There is also the time button presses to deal more damage to enemies or take less damage when being attacked. The option for a two-person team attacks also adds another dimension to the gameplay, which is just one of the things that fans should look forward to.
