Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016), Galaxy A7 (2016) Price, Release Date & Update: Korean Smartphone Giant Reveals Prices As Handsets Become Available in China

The Samsung Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 prices have been announced by the Korean company as the handsets are launched in China.

The Galaxy 2016 editions have been released in China and according to the country's Samsung website, the Galaxy A5 costs CNY 2,398 (around $371) and the Galaxy A7 costs CNY 2,699 (around $417). However, the Galaxy A3 price list has not been revealed. Both priced handsets are currently available and for sale in China through the company's website.

For the specs, the Galaxy A7 is the biggest smartphone among the three. It has a 5.5-inch full HD super AMOLED display with a 1.6 GHz octa-core processor, 3 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. According to Tech 2, it weighs 172 grams and can support LTE 6 networks. It comes with a 3,300 mAh-capable Fast Charging battery. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and has a 13 MP rear camera with optical image stabilization feature and a 5 MP front cam.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A5 is the second biggest among the bunch. It has a 5.2 inch Full-HD super AMOLED display, 2 GB RAM, 1.6GHz processor with 2 GB Ram and 16 GB internal storage that can be expanded. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with a 2,900 mAh-capable Fast Charging battery. It has a 13MP rear camera for photos and videos and a 5 MP front camera.

According to the website, the A7 and the A5 both have Samsung Pay's Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST), NFC payment systems and fingerprint scanner. GSM Arena reports that the two smartphones have four color options in gold, pink, white and black.

Even though the Galaxy A3 isn't yet listed, here are its specs. According to the International Business Times, it is the smallest of the three with a 4.7inch HD super AMOLED display. It has a 1.5GHz quad-core processor that runs on 1.5GB RAM and an internal storage of 16GB that can be expandable via a microSD. It has a 2300 mAh battery pack which does not have a fast charging capability. Like its bigger siblings, it has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front cam as well.

MNR Daily reports that the Galaxy A3 will be released in China this month. The Galaxy A3 may be priced at $360, according to the outlet. All Galaxy A handsets will be released in other areas starting the beginning of 2016. Additionally, pre-orders are ongoing and the handsets will be set for delivery on Jan. 8.
