'GTA 5' Online Christmas DLC Update: Festive Surprise 3.0 Brings New Muscle Car? Content Details Leaked! [Report]

Players of the multiplayer online game “GTA Online” will have a great time once the Christmas DLC, also known as the Festive Surprise 3.0 Update, comes. A leak has surfaced, giving details of what seems to be a new vehicle that players will be able to purchase and drive.

According to the International Business Times, a YouTuber named MrBossFTW (aka Ross) has given the leak, which revealed the possible release date of the Christmas DLC along with some incoming game content that includes details about the muscle car Declasse Tampa.

The leaked information has reportedly come from game developer Rockstar Games itself, from what seems to be a mistake. It is reported that Rockstar made an announcement on Newswire and has accidentally released very important information about the update.

According to MrBossFTW or Ross, the game developer had accidentally posted the terms and conditions for a “GTA 5 Snapmatic” photo challenge on its social club page, well ahead of the Christmas DLC.

The accidentally-released information gave details regarding participation, evaluation, the event period, collection and use of data and releases; the most relevant of which is the actual event schedule, which the post revealed to start at 12:01 a.m. EST on Dec. 21 and run through 11:59 p.m. EST on Jan. 5.

This schedule coincides with the release date for the Festive Surprise DLC, which is believed to be either Jan. 21 or 22. IBTimes added that as Rockstar doesn't release any DLC on Mondays, it's safe to assume that the Christmas/Festive Surprise DLC will come on Tuesday, Dec. 22.

Express reported that the DLC content will include a lot of festive items, such as Christmas trees for apartments, as well as some slightly mad new mask designs. Not only that, the Declasse Tampa, which came first in “GTA: San Andreas” and “GTA IV Gay Tony Expansion,” will be making its debut for “GTA 5.”

Leaked game codes also revealed that the new DLC will only have one vehicle added to the game, alongside new clothing and new “Hunt the Beast or how you want to call it“ costumes.

Aside from these, players can expect to see some cosmetic changes to the game, including snowfall and some giant Christmas trees in Los Santos.
