Many "Iron Man" fans are looking forward to the film's fourth franchise. Unfortunately, up to now, Marvel remains mum about "Iron Man 4." However, fans are hopeful to see "Iron Man" in the big screens again on his own film.

The self-proclaimed genius, billionaire, playboy and philanthropist superhero Tony Stark a.k.a "Iron Man" will appear in "Captain America: Civil War." Robert Downey Jr. has a huge role in the anticipated blockbuster film alongside Chris Evans who will be playing the titular role. But, apart from this, fans want "Iron Man 4."

Parent Herald previously reported that Downey Jr. already confirmed "Iron Man 4" in his appearance on the Ellen show. He explained that Marvel is exploring ideas on how to film the next "Iron Man" in the best way and disclosed that they are in the middle of a negotiation. When Ellen prompted him for a yes about "Iron Man 4," he said, "Okay, yes."

Unfortunately, there are unending reports about new actors taking the lead for "Iron Man 4." In fact, MovieWeb listed Timothy Olyphant and Leonardo DiCaprio as the top promising actors for the role. But apart from these names, earlier reports suggested that Ty Simpkins will take the suit in the next film.

Many wanted to see Downey Jr. reprise his role in "Iron Man 4." However, he was reportedly demanding for a higher fee, which made Marvel consider other actors taking the lead for the film. Well, fans should accept that Downey Jr. can't be "Iron Man" forever, but perhaps, everyone would agree that it's not yet time for him to leave the film.

A MoviePilot user thinks that if there is "Iron Man 4," the plot will likely feature Stark training the teen sidekick he worked with in "Iron Man 3," which is played by Simpkins. The report suggested that the younger actor fits to be the next "Iron Man."

"He also has a humor to him, much like Stark's. He's sort of arrogant, much like Stark. He's sort of clever, much like Stark. He can also be ignorant, much like Stark. See the pattern here? Ty's character Harley is even summed up on IMDb as pretty much a younger Tony Stark," the report explained.

Moreover, the younger character is clever enough to understand and improve "Iron Man's" suit. In "Iron Man 3," he has a conversation with Stark where he recommended to add retro flash panels and give the suit a stealth mode. The superhero was open to the recommendation and even said, "That's actually not a bad idea. I might make one."

Although, "Iron Man 4" is not confirmed at the time. Many fans are hoping that it will be among the three films that Marvel will be releasing in 2020. By that time, Ty will be old enough to take up the suit from Stark, the report claimed.

Do you want Simpkins for "Iron Man 4" or do you want Stark to train him in the next "Iron Man" film to prepare fans for a transition of a younger superhero.
