New developments were introduced to the "Super Mario Maker" recently to the delight of many fans, but as it turned out, not all of them were warranted by Nintendo.

According to reports, some data miners were able to come upon a new costume and leak it to the system. This hidden Mystery Mushroom costume, which has not been officially announced yet, was inspired from "Super Mario Land" wherein Mario can be seen flying the Sky Pop plane.

"Looks like those dang data miners are up to their old tricks again. According to this video by the YouTube channel GameXplain, they've plied their wicked ways on 'Super Mario Maker' and dug up an as of yet unannounced costume from the game's metaphorical sub-levels," wrote Destructoid.

"It's the Sky Pop plane from 'Super Mario Land' on the Game Boy! This cute little black and white throwback includes its own custom sound effects for dying and clearing a stage and looks downright adorable." As of this writing, the YouTube video was already flagged down by Nintendo who blocked it for copyright issues.

"Nintendo Badge Arcade", which was just recently released in 3DS, is now accessible in Nintendo Wii U with the "Super Mario Maker" getting an entire level just for it. And, of course, the pink bunny which is seen from the 3DS version will also be making a crossover. It will come available as Mystery Mushroom character skin, according to Hardcore Gamer.

Players can unlock the pink rabbit costume and have it added to the list of available Mystery Mushroom costumes by completing the Nintendo Badge Arcade event course. And, once they got hold of this interesting feature, the players can now enjoy the "Nintendo Badge Arcade" theme songs as the bunny hops off of the flagpole. Holding up on the directional pad can also make way for the bunny to adopt its muscular form, according to Siliconera. You can check out the YouTube video below showing Mario making use of the new outfit.

Another update for the Wii U video game is the launch of the new "Super Mario Maker" Bookmark web portal, which make it easier fro players to search for different courses they may find interesting to play later on. It is available in the computer, tablet and smartphones and will help players in choosing courses like some of the recommended ones, reports IT Wire.

In order to avail of this new feature, the players must apply a free software update first, which will be available on Dec. 22. This software update will also include new features like the Fire Koopa Clown Car and P Warp Doors. As for the "Super Mario Maker" Bookmark, it will be available in the official website for the game on the same date.
