The royal family is facing another controversy. According to new reports, Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth do not share the same perspective when it comes Prince George's education.

According to CelebDirtyLaundry, Kensington Palace announced on December 18 that Prince George would attend a local nursery school located in Norfolk, West Acre Montessori School. The said school is only a short drive from the Cambridge's Anmer Hall country home. Prince George will begin attending before the end of January 2016.

Per the report, the eyes and ears roaming around the halls of the Royal Palaces reported that Queen Elizabeth is furious with Kate's decision. Those in the know claimed that Prince William agreed completely, without any argument or reservation to his wife's decision. The royal couple even refuses the monarch's suggestion of hiring private tutors for Prince George's schooling.

After Kate respectfully declined Queen Elizabeth's recommendation, things between the royals allegedly became uncomfortable and a little heated. Prince William backed up their decision and explained to his granny that neither he nor Prince Harry was educated by private tutors and neither will Prince George nor Princess Charlotte.

Prince William attended Jane Mynors' nursery school and then proceeded at Wetherby School. After that, the second-in-line to the throne attended Ludgrove School and Eton College before entering the University of St. Andrews. The only tutoring Prince William received was during the summer months.

Apart from Prince George's education, Kate and Queen Elizabeth have different plans for the holidays. Per International Business Times, the royal mom of two commandeered the royal family Christmas. Prince William and Kate will be hosting an informal Christmas lunch at Anmer Hall. The royal parents will transform their home into a haven for the holidays.

"Kate has gone all out and there's a lot of glitter, sparkle and Christmas cheer. She wants it to be great fun for the kids. There is nothing formal or stuffy, it's all rather over the top and good fun. The Middletons always go OTT, and Kate and Will are following suit," one source told Daily Mail Online.

"Prince Charles realizes this Anmer Christmas with all the Middletons in tow is 'non-negotiable'." A source close to Cambridge's disclosed that the idea is Prince William's.

"It's not Kate, but William who has instigated this. He wants an ordinary, fun, family Christmas in his own home and that's what he's engineered," the insider said. "No one's said 'no' or told him it's not the done thing. It has just been accepted."

Well, it seems that Kate and Prince William both wanted a normal life for their royal children and nothing is wrong with it. But, will this affect their relationship with Queen Elizabeth? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
