For those who have enjoyed the CBS TV series “Criminal Minds,” here's some good news.

A new spin-off for the series entitled “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” is going to premiere on March 2, according to CarterMatt.

Gary Sinise and the other cast are reportedly coming back to solving crimes and stopping criminals around the world. However, former “Breaking Bad” star Anna Gunn won't be joining the fray this time.

This new series is reportedly getting a primetime spot following the main series “Criminal Minds.”

CTV News reported that “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” is not the first spin-off to the “Criminal Minds” franchise. CBS first tried “Suspect Behavior” in 2011, following after the success of other series spin-offs of “NCIS” and “CSI.” However, it still fell short of the success that was expected for it, despite including Forest Whitaker in the cast.

“Suspect Behavior” ended after airing only 13 episodes and only garnering an average of 10 million viewers in the whole country. Now that “Criminal Minds” has earned a place in the top ten most watched TV series in the U.S., CBS is hoping that “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” will also get high viewer ratings and be as successful as the mother series is.

Here's the plot for “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” according to Spoiler TV:

“Unit Chief Jack Garrett (Gary Sinise) and his International Response Team (IRT), comprised of military hero and profiler Matt Simmons (Daniel Henney), brilliant tech analyst Russ “Monty” Montgomery (Tyler James Williams) and fearless medical examiner Mae Jarvis (Annie Funke), are a specialized Division of the FBI tasked with solving crimes and coming to the rescue of Americans who find themselves in danger while abroad.

“In the series premiere, Garrett and his unit travel to Thailand when three American volunteers go missing during a trek to Bangkok. Once there, former colleague Clara Seger (Alana De La Garza), a cultural anthropologist, helps them rush to gather evidence leading to the UnSub before a storm threatens to wash it away.”

For those that don't know the cast of the series, Gary is also known the former boss of “CSI: New York.”

Tyler James Williams ("Everybody Hates Chris"), Daniel Henney ("Hawaii 5-0"), Alana de la Garza ("CSI: Miami") and Annie Funke ("The Intern") also join the cast.

“Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” premieres March 2 (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT ) on the CBS Television Network.
