Speculations were rife with regard to a possible accidental leak of what could be the ultra-thin MacBook Pro after a notebook, which appears to be something that looks nothing like the current Apple laptops available in the market today, was seen in the background of Apple general counsel Bruce Sewell during one of 60 Minutes' special entitled "Inside Apple."

But, the Cupertino-headquartered American tech company gave its official word to Tech Insider that the device shown behind the Apple exec in last Sunday's show is, in fact, the 12-inch MacBook, which has been released earlier this year. This ended the rumor mill, especially those from Reddit and the social media.

"With its dark gray keyboard and thin bezel, it looks somewhat similar to the new space gray 12-inch MacBook that debuted earlier this year, but the dimensions look different and the bezel looks noticeably thinner," wrote Tech Insider.

"It's possible this could be a new MacBook Air or MacBook Pro; we'd guess this is a 15-inch MacBook Air, given its apparent size and the fact that Apple is rumored to reveal a 15-inch MacBook Air in 2016, possibly as early as March but very likely in June for WWDC 2016."

Meanwhile, a report from MacRumor tells about a fake "iPhone 7" leaked concept video courtesy of ViralVideoLab's YouTube channel that has triggered off another round of buzz in the social media. The clip, which was first spotted by the French website Nowhereelse.fr, showed what was rumored to be a next-generation iPhone prototype that seemingly lacks a home button held by an alleged Foxconn employee.

"The staged video from ViralVideoLab shows a metallic device with an Apple logo, but it is noticeably thicker than the iPhone 6s and includes regulatory markings that are questionable for such an early prototype, wrote MacRumor. "The prototype more closely resembles an HTC One M9 with thin bezels along the top and bottom of the screen."

Both the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus devices have yet to come off their old age, but fans are already looking forward to the release of the next device and scouring the web for rumors and updates. According to CNET, the new iPhone device could have a release date sometime in the fall of 2016, which follows Apple's usual launch period. The 6S and 6S Plus, for instance, were introduced to the market on Sept. 25.

Some of the rumored specs for the iPhone 7 include an A10 chip, an upgraded RAM of 4GB, and could, possibly, have an internal memory of 32GB for its entry-level model. We expect the price to come within the vicinity of the current Apple flagship phones in the market.
