Little is known about "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" star Daisy Ridley before she got her global recognition with the current massive success of the George Lucas' brainchild franchise's latest installment. But, while it only took one film from the new trilogy for the English actress to get her celebrity status and for fans to get to know her more, her character Rey has retained its mysterious persona in so far as the Star Wars episode VII is concerned.

And now, the legion of Star Wars fans are seemingly taking a page from Jon Snow/Game of Thrones playbook and have come up with some interesting fan theories about Rey's true identity, particularly the truth about her folks. Here are some of the best guesswork so far.

[Spoiler Alert]

She is Luke's Daughter

It was one daughter handing out the lightsaber to her father at the end of the film. Dramatic, right? But, could this be J.J. Abrams way of giving us a glimpse of the twist. For one, Rey was able to wield the Luke's sword when she fought Kylo Ren. And, this could also explain why the force is just so strong with her, HelloGiggles noted.

Or She Could Be Of Han Solo's

One popular theory about Rey is that she is the lovechild of Han Solo and Princess Leia. For one, Rey seems to be natural when it comes to flying those machines, which could be a trait she possibly got from Han Solo himself--- plus, there were also those instances when the two murmured words in unison.

This could also explain why Han Solo has found Rey at that instance when the enemies were on her tail. Could he be secretly protecting her all the while and it is one of the reasons why Han Solo and Leia had to be apart. If this theory proves to be true, then Rey has just fought with her very own brother in Kylo Ren.

According to Mashable, Daisy Ridley also happened to be the exact same age as Carrie Fisher's real-life daughter Billie Lourd, who also appears in the film.

Obi-Wan's Perhaps?

First off, it was confirmed that the voice who called out Rey during the lightsaber vision belongs to Ewan McGregor a.k.a. Obi-Wan Kenobi, which could be construed as a possible connection to the two. "Her mannerisms, personality, upbringing, and fighting style all parallel Obi-Wan's," HelloGiggles added.

Or Possibly, She is Luke's Daughter and Obi Wan's Granddaughter

"This feels like a bit of a stretch - but hey, why not? It would also explain Rey's adeptness in the Force: she could be descended from not one, but three notable Jedi (Luke, Vader and Obi-Wan)," according to the Telegraph.

But, For All We Know She's Just A Nobody

And by nobody, we mean that she might just be from some ordinary lineage in Jakku. Yeah, Rey could simply be just some especially Force-sensitive orphan sent to Luke's Jedi Academy for training, wrote Mashable. So, stop hypothesizing people.
