A new year is about to begin and many are already listing their New Year's resolution. Losing weight, getting fit, eating healthy and dieting are among the most common items in the bucket list. If you want to get fitter for 2016, take these fitness tips from the top celebrities that you will surely love.

If you want to have the same figure as that of Jessica Alba, then try to practice yoga, strength training and martial arts. "I attribute my athletic body to the martial arts, gymnastics, dance, and strength training I did while filming Dark Angel. That's made me strong and really set the bar," the "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" star told Shape.

Alba admitted that "working out sucks" but she motivates herself by listening to good music like 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Jay-Z, Beyonce. Moreover, she always grabs every chance she has to work out.

"When I only have 30 minutes, I'll do a series of burpees, mountain climbers, squat jumps, planks, and a few sun salutations." She also prefers taking classes because when she is surrounded with other people that keep her motivated and accountable for her fitness goal.

Capoeira is Brazilian martial arts that combine the elements of dance, acrobatics and music. It is sometimes referred as a game.

I put in the work like everyone else," Lopez told People. The actress-singer added that her regime includes circuit training, cardio and workouts by celeb trainer Tracy Anderson.

Aside from the aforementioned celebrities, the "Let it Go" singer, Demi Lovato, also let goes of her routines to a sexier and fitter body. The songstress revealed that she and her friend Christina Perri were both huge fans of Soul Cycle. When they were on tour, they brought their bikes with them. "Christina's taken a ton of classes, and she tells me what to do. It's super fun, and we usually drink a green juice or protein shake afterward and talk. It's nice to get some quality girl time in, too," she told Fitness Magazine.
