After spending months in seclusion and his recent health scare, new reports indicate that Subway is eyeing Rob Kardashian as the future voice for the brand.

Jared Fogle was the brand's former spokesperson. An informant revealed to Hollywood Life Subway's interest in the 28-year-old Kardashian.

"We all know the days of Jared are forever gone and that leaves a very big hole in a pitchman with the Subway brand. Subway has been having discussions and would like to see if working with Rob would be a fit to not only help get him healthy but possibly have him become the next weight loss success story and pitchman for Subway."

The source says much of the work will still be up to Rob although both parties will benefit tremendously if the Subway brand becomes involved in the celebrity's weight loss journey and success.

In Dec. 29, Rob Kardashian was rushed to the hospital where he was later diagnosed to have diabetes. TMZ says doctors have advised the former reality TV star to live a healthier lifestyle to get his diabetes under control.

Medical Daily reports show that diabetes is a preventable and treatable disease. Cycling vigorously for 90 seconds can help reverse some of the problems caused by diabetes.

An earlier study reports that a diet rich in protein can help diabetics in controlling their blood sugar to a healthy level. On the other hand, consuming potassium-rich foods can aid in keeping the heart and kidneys healthy.

Sources indicate that Kris Jenner wants Rob's weight loss journey documented on national television. Inquisitr says "The Biggest Loser" coach Dolvett Quince has already revealed his interest in helping him achieve his health goals.

According to the source, Quince is reportedly open to the idea of helping Jenner's youngest boy, whether it is on or off the camera.

People says Rob has been in seclusion for the last two years. During this time, the star has gained more than 100 pounds and battling depression.

After receiving the medical diagnosis, the report indicates that he has gone back to living with his sister Khloe.

However, the star remains a recluse. Sources close to the family have revealed the Kardashians' concerns regarding Rob.

"Even after his medical scare, Rob acts like he wants nothing to do with the world," an anonymous informant stated to the celebrity publication. "He doesn't respond to texts from people that are genuinely concerned and checking up on him."

The unidentified informant has told reporters that once the holiday festivities are over, the Kardashian clan intends to gather in Los Angeles to discuss what to do with Rob.
