Kourtney Kardashian had bouts of anxiety after her split with long-term partner Scott Disick. The reality star opened up about it in a post that was published on her app.

"Everyone deals with hard times in their lives differently. I'm generally not a nervous person but I get anxious," said Kourtney in an entry entitled "Coping With My Anxiety." The eldest of the Kardashian sisters admitted that her anxiety made her nauseated that it came to a point she couldn't eat properly. She also started losing weight dramatically. "It is really bad, but I force myself to stay healthy."

Kourtney managed by getting into a fitness plan that involves exercises five days a week. However, she confessed that some days are not usually great. "When I'm having an anxious day, my workout is so much harder. But that's when it feels good to power through it!" said Kourtney, per News Corp Australia.

During morning is when the 36-year-old reality star says she's usually most anxious, so that's the best time for her to schedule her workouts. "I usually start with a quick run or jumping rope to warm up," she said, per Us Weekly. "For me, exercise is as much about my body as it is about calming my mind."

Apart from doing physical activities, Kourtney also watches her diet. On days when she's having anxiety and feeling nauseated, she avoids sugar, caffeine and alcohol, which can make her condition worse, per Cosmopolitan.

Kourtney and Scott separated in the summer of 2015 after dating for nine years. The union resulted in three kids - Mason, 6, Penelope, 3 and Reign, 1.

There were speculations that the ex-couple had been trying to work it out, but Scott has reportedly moved in with new girlfriend Lina Sandberg, per E! Online. On the other hand, Kourtney has been linked to young heartthrob Justin Bieber, but the "Never Say Never" singer denied the romance, per New York Daily News. "For real, she's great. I've known (the family) for years," Justin said in a radio interview.

In October, Scott entered rehab for drug and alcohol abuse and acknowledged that his behavior not only affected his former partner but also the rest of the Kardashian family. In a recent episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," Scott was featured making an apology. "I've apologized to Kourtney a hundred times but I've never apologized to like all of you for letting all of you down and embarrassing you guys," he told the Kardashians, as reported on E!
