Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Marvel's Tony Stark share some things in common. For starters, the two are both geniuses and billionaires who run each of their respective tech empires. They are also philanthropists in their own right. And, you could probably add to that having their own Jarvis once Zuckerberg's 2016 plans have materialized.

The popular guy from Palo Alto is planning to develop an artificial intelligence (AI) that would serve as his very own executive assistant—pretty much like Jarvis' role for Mr. Stark a.k.a. Iron Man. The AI would play the role of a manservant at his house and a support system to aid him in his work. Zuckerberg is doing this in line with his goal of challenging himself year in and year out.

"I'm going to start by exploring what technology is already out there. Then I'll start teaching it to understand my voice to control everything in our home—music, lights, temperature and so on," Zuckerberg wrote on his Facebook page.

"I'll teach it to let friends in by looking at their faces when they ring the doorbell. I'll teach it to let me know if anything is going on in Max's room that I need to check on when I'm not with her. On the work side, it'll help me visualize data in VR to help me build better services and lead my organizations more effectively."

The Facebook CEO takes on personal challenges for self-growth and continuous learning. Previously, he has undertaken such tasks like reading two books every month, learning Mandarin and meeting a new person every day. And, for 2016, that would have to be building a new thing himself, Gizmodo also reported.

He said that he has been devoting a lot of his time at work collaborating with engineers to build something new. And, he feels that it is very rewarding when you get yourself very much into the details of technical projects.

"This should be a fun intellectual challenge to code this for myself. I'm looking forward to sharing what I learn over the course of the year," he added.

Meanwhile, one commenter on Zuckerberg's Facebook post who goes by the username Darlene Hackemer Loretto said that she has been telling her granddaughters to date the nerd in school because, for all they know, he might turn out to be the next Mark Zuckerberg.

But, the social networking kingpin has an even better idea in mind in his response. He told Loretto to encourage her granddaughters to be the nerd themselves so they can be the next big thing.
