'Deadpool' Movie Poster, Trailer & Update: New Valentine's Posters Try to Woo Rom-Com Fans; Watch Latest TV Spot Here [Video]

The promotional materials for "Deadpool" have taken a hilarious turn as they showcase a love story movie to woo romantic-comedy fans into watching it next month.

Numerous posters which serve as the movie's new promotional materials show Ryan Reynolds and Morena Baccarin in a spoof of rom-com movie posters. Some have been captioned with "True Love Never Dies" and "I Love You Wade Wilson" seemingly as a parody of other famous romantic movies such as "Fifty Shades of Grey," a popular movie that was shown on Valentine's Day.

With one more month to go, a new TV spot which features Colossus (voiced by Stefan Kapicic), Angel Dust (played by Gina Carano), Copycat (played by Morena Baccarin) and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (played by Brianna Hildebrand) is entitled "Pretty Little Poolers." It is a play on ABC's drama series "Pretty Little Liars" which follows the lives of four girls in which the new spot showcases at least four women as well.

This follows a previous TV spot which was aired during "The Bachelor" was also formatted to lure in fans of love story movies. The teaser showcased Ryan Reynolds in his Deadpool suit holding a rose while lounging in a fur-covered sofa. He was also holding a rose like the ones do on the show. The 45-second teaser also showcased Reynolds stripping off his shirt which revealed his abs.

"Hello, you're probably thinking, my boyfriend said this is a superhero movie. Well, surprise! This is actually, lucky you, a love story," the actor said. "When your worst enemy is after your girl, it's time to be a superhero."

According to Coming Soon, the movie has officially been rated. The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) has rated "Deadpool" with rated R for "strong violence and language throughout, sexual content and graphic nudity."

The movie is based upon Marvel's comic book antihero Deadpool. It tells the origin story of Wade Wilson, a former Special Forces operative who is subjected to a number of experiments after being diagnosed with a terminal disease. The experiments made him survive but in turn made him very hard to look at. Adopting the name Deadpool and with his accelerated healing powers, he goes after the man who tried to destroy him, according to Superhero Hype.

The movie is directed by Tim Miller with a script written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. "Deadpool" is coming to theaters on Feb. 12.
